The Journal of International Policy Solutions (JIPS) website is a platform to share graduate student discussion about policy solutions to global challenges. As the official student run journal of the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS) at UC San Diego, we publish a journal written by graduate students around the world that is now in its twentieth year. We also have a blog where GPS students share their perspectives on current events and emerging issues as well as a new podcast that covers interesting research happening at GPS.

Spring 2022

The Journal is very excited to announce the launch of its annual publication for the year 2022. The 23rd volume covers a wide range of topics from security to institutional racism. Spanning across regions from Latin America to East Asia, we hope the readers enjoy the original research conducted by GPS students here at UC San Diego.
